How Do I Shot Web #1: How do I shot netcast?

    Thursday, January 31st, 2008

    shotweb

Hey, everyone, it’s How Do I Shot Web!

How Do I Shot Web is a new Tech Offensive network show where we will teach you, the listener, how we do all the amazing things we do.

    This week we discuss netcasting.

If you have a tech problem or question that you would like answered, send it to techoffensive (at) gmail.com, maybe we’ll do an ep about it.

    On this episode:

    • Leo Laporte, the man, the myth, the savior, the personal inspiration,
    • The Alesis Multimix 8, the past,
    • The Mackie Onyx 1620, the present, the future,
    • GearMediaTech, a past and future reference for your recording gear needs,
    • and also Skype, Audio Hijack, and other bullshit.

Also, in this episode, we cite this Tech Offensive post that cites this Leo Laporte Leoville.TV post. So I cite them both now.

Thanks so much to Jott Robertson and Ross Faulkenberg for joining the cast tonight.

So now, without further ado, here it is, HOW DO I SHOT WEB EPISODE ONE HOW WE SHOT NETCAST OMG CAPS <—–right click save as.

Blogosphere dims slightly as Uncov.com self-fails

    Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

“Oh, right. One more thing. This is the last Uncov. Ever. I have been getting tired of it, and this has been manifesting itself in my writing. After seeing the spectacle at the Crunchies, I think it’s finally time to quit.”

Makes me sad. I always thought the writer [Ted Dziuba] was probably a goon; always had great (probably Awful-forums derived) image macros.

Maybe if TechOffensive ever gets some readers he could find a home here.

    uncov’s last image

Yeah, I didn’t think so either.

Go check out the archives at Uncov.com while they’re still up. Hopefully the Dziuba will still write somewhere.

Hey, look, I can do it too:

    clint and cassie

and some Polaroids that Cassie took:

    cassie and vanessa

Vanessa took the pic of Clint being excited as well.

    jott

Ok, just kidding Jott, jeeze, chill out.

    Justice’s Scrapped Fabriclive Set

    Friday, January 11th, 2008

We’ve mentioned Fabriclive once or twice on the cast, so I thought this might be of interest. I guess Fabriclive expected something else when they tapped the hype act of ought-seven for the 37th installment of their ongoing mix series. Too much obscure French disco and novelty acts in the short mix killed it, and besides, clearing the rights on all that shit probably wouldn’t have been worth the cash. Ed Banger ends up releasing it as a Xmas gift for friends of the label and somehow it ends up on the internet(?!)Grab it from AsianManDan here: Justice at Fabriclive
