To the delight of all present, Lonesome Radio Heart played a terrific set here at The Banana Stand last night.

I’d like to thank Paul, Elisa, Stephanie, Jeremy, Ryan and Gordy from Lonesome Radio Heart for playing such a good show. I’d also like to thank all their fans for coming out to the show and, more importantly, for keeping our house prim and proper (seriously, our kitchen was spotless).

Banana Standers deserve thanking as well, thanks Aaron, Jott, Ross and Shawn for hanging and helping with the show.

Check back on Tech Offensive and Banana Stand Media soon for live tracks from Lonesome Radio Heart. Thanks again to everyone for coming out.

Louie Herr and I have been kicking around the idea of a media netcast for a couple months. Unfortunately, with so many other projects (Tech Offensive, Banana Stand Media, Fearing Americans, real jobs, etc) it’s been difficult to find a name for the netcast or even decided on interesting content.

Here’s the first shot at keeping all you beautiful people in-the-know with what’s hip in entertainment. Lucky for you we stray from rag-gossip like Entertainment Tonight, TMZ, or The Insider – this way you’ll be less likely to feel that horrible emptiness inside that reminds you of how much of a worthless consumer whore you’ve become.
In this episode:
-Death Cab For Cutie
-Vampire Weekend
-The Roots
-TV On The Radio
-The Futureheads
-Common
-Danny Glover
-My Morning Jacket
-Y The Last Man
-James Bond: Quantum Of Solace
-Mr. Snipes
-Nick Cage
-Nick Cave
-Matt Damon ballin’ Sarah Silverman
Thanks to all our listeners and Bennett Leader for joining us on this new project.

“Oh, right. One more thing. This is the last Uncov. Ever. I have been getting tired of it, and this has been manifesting itself in my writing. After seeing the spectacle at the Crunchies, I think it’s finally time to quit.”
Makes me sad. I always thought the writer [Ted Dziuba] was probably a goon; always had great (probably Awful-forums derived) image macros.
Maybe if TechOffensive ever gets some readers he could find a home here.

Yeah, I didn’t think so either.
Go check out the archives at Uncov.com while they’re still up. Hopefully the Dziuba will still write somewhere.
Hey, look, I can do it too:
