Went to a midnight showing of Cloverfield in Portland last night (thanks Jott for going with me). My disbelief was suspended, my heart was racing. I thought it was entirely perfect. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie so intense.
This thread is about how awesome Cloverfield is. Please leave a comment if you’ve seen it, please go see it if you haven’t.
Due to technical difficulties*, this will be a rare CHOOSE YOUR OWN NETCAST edition of The Tech Offensive…when silence occurs, please assume that Aaron is uttering one of the following:
a dick joke,
a pussy joke (or reference to),
a racist comment,
something about strippers,
something witty about how gay Ross is (even though he’s not on the cast).
Please also feel free to laugh or be offended accordingly.
Thanks again to Jacques Vaughn for returning to the cast, Scott Tridle for calling in for the first time and of course to Bennett Leader and Aaron Colter for joining us.
We’ve mentioned Fabriclive once or twice on the cast, so I thought this might be of interest. I guess Fabriclive expected something else when they tapped the hype act of ought-seven for the 37th installment of their ongoing mix series. Too much obscure French disco and novelty acts in the short mix killed it, and besides, clearing the rights on all that shit probably wouldn’t have been worth the cash. Ed Banger ends up releasing it as a Xmas gift for friends of the label and somehow it ends up on the internet(?!)Grab it from AsianManDan here: Justice at Fabriclive
played a killer show here at the Banana Stand on New Year’s Eve. Check TechOffensive soon for tracks from both bands and more pictures. (We’ll have music up and interviews as soon as Louie gets his life together).
Thanks again to both Deer or the Doe and Tranquilazer for the killer show. If you have pictures of the show or party, we’d like to see them, leave a comment.
Though the link works, I can’t actually find the netcast by searching within iTunes. If you find our netcast by searching the iTunes music store, please let me know how.
